What We Buy
What grading companies do you accept?
We exclusively purchase PSA and BGS (Beckett) graded cards. We do
not accept SGC, HGA, CGC, or any other third-party grading
companies at this time.
Do you buy raw or ungraded cards?
No, we only purchase graded cards that are sealed in PSA or BGS
slabs. We do not buy raw, ungraded, or loose cards regardless of
condition.
What sports do you buy?
We purchase graded cards from football, basketball, baseball, and
soccer. If it's graded by PSA or BGS in one of these sports, we're
interested!
What grades do you buy?
We only purchase high-grade cards: PSA 9 or PSA 10, and BGS 8.5 or
higher. We focus on premium graded cards that meet these minimum
grade requirements.
Pricing & Payments
What is your payout rate?
We offer industry-leading 90% payouts on graded cards. This means
you receive 90% of the current market value for your cards - far
better than most other buyers who typically offer 75-85%.
How do you determine pricing?
We base our pricing on current market values using recent sales
data from major platforms like eBay, PWCC, Goldin, and other
auction houses. We evaluate player demand, card condition, grade,
and market trends to provide you with a fair and competitive
offer.
When do I get paid?
For in-person transactions at trade shows or our office, you get
paid immediately - cash on the spot. For shipped cards, payment is
issued upon arrival and inspection of your cards.
What payment methods do you use?
We offer payment via cash (for in-person deals), PayPal, or bank
wire transfer. You choose the method that works best for you.
Selling Process
How do I sell my cards to you?
You have three options: (1) Meet us at a trade show - check our
Events page for our schedule, (2) Schedule a private appointment
at our office, or (3) Contact us via Instagram DM at @slab.source
with photos of your cards for a quick quote.
Where can I meet you?
We attend major card shows and conventions nationwide. Visit our
Events page to see our current schedule and upcoming appearances.
You can also visit us at our office for private deals.
Do I need an appointment?
For trade shows, no appointment is necessary - just visit our
booth. For office visits, we recommend scheduling an appointment
to ensure we can give you our full attention. Contact us via email
at [email protected] or Instagram to schedule.
Can I sell via Instagram?
Absolutely! DM us at @slab.source with clear photos of your graded
cards (front and back). We'll review them and provide you with a
competitive quote typically within a few hours during business
hours.
Do you buy bulk collections?
Yes! We specialize in bulk purchases and are a trusted supplier to
major repack companies. Whether you have 10 cards or 10,000, we're
interested. Larger collections may qualify for special pricing
arrangements.
Shipping & Logistics
Do you accept mailed cards?
Yes, we can arrange for mailed submissions on larger collections.
Contact us first to agree on pricing and receive shipping
instructions.
Who pays for shipping?
The seller covers shipping costs. However, we will cover the
shipping insurance to protect your valuable cards during transit.
How should I package my cards for shipping?
Graded slabs should be bubble-wrapped individually and placed in a
sturdy box with adequate cushioning. We recommend using USPS
Priority Mail with insurance and signature confirmation for
valuable shipments. Never ship cards in soft envelopes.
What if my cards get damaged in shipping?
This is why we strongly recommend insured shipping. If cards
arrive damaged, the insurance claim process will be initiated
immediately. We document all incoming shipments with photos and
videos for protection.
